My son is super happy with this training set. He loves them socks and says they are really comfortable and grippy.

The set comes with a training mat, grippy socks, a mat carrying case and a kick trainer.

I would advise that you go online and do a search for football training mat as you will see lots of videos that show you drills on it.

The quality of the items were too much although the mat came folded and took a while to flatten out. The socks are really nice for controlling the ball and the carrying case can fit all the items to store away.

We had a brief go on the kick trainer which is a belt with a elastic leash that has a velcro harness for the ball. This seems good but needs more testing as we have it a try indoors which was a bad idea. I think the harness might get in the way and hamper ball control though. At £24.99 I think this is reasonable for all the bits that come with this set.

As you may expect, I am not an expert at how football training mats work, but my kid said thank you with a big grin and disappeared for about 2 hours after it was all set up – so I think that means it was a good mat. The socks have been worn constantly and I keep getting told to ‘come look at this’ – again, not sure entirely what I’m looking at, as the moves seem to all be the same, but, the fact of the matter is they’re having fun. The friends were over and they all had a shot and yeah, this football obsessed little one was very happy. Which makes me happy, which means it was a good item.

I will however point out that a friend was just round to see the new mat and one of them parents pointed out they got on almost identical from temunfor a fraction of the price. So for that I'm taking a star off as I had a proper look around and this price point is completely elevated.

Wow, I’m truly impressed with this product. The quality and durability are outstanding. The socks that came with it are great, too!

I've already spent hours practising and trying out various skills with it. I couldn't recommend this product more highly!
